Ty Newydd -  Planning Inspectorate Hearing
 
The Planning Inspectorate Appeal Hearing,  related to Mr Spragg's application at Ty Newydd, will be heard on Wednesday July 2nd. Function Room E, City Hall, Cardiff. at 10.00am.  The case officer  at CCC is Sue Procter, telephone number 02920 872515. The Planning Inspectorate no is 02920 823889.  Notices should be put up around the site, but we must  remember from experience of the original Planning Application notices that these often get removed.  Residents will not be informed  individually unless they sent in a letter with this special request included. 
 
Residents are allowed to speak and  put forward their views at the Hearing, so it is important to make the effort to attend.  If, for instance,  you want to bring to the notice of the Inspectorate the fact that the site at Ty Newydd was created by the felling of the woodland without Licence, use the Hearing to have your say.   It is important, because  the fate of the former woodland may not have been apparent at any site visits  made by the Inspectorate.
 
Perhaps some car sharing could take place on the day of the Hearing to facilitate attendance of those who do not feel able to go on the bus or train.  Contact Community Councillor Sandie Rosser or put a message on this site if you want more information - or a car share.
